How We Solve This Project
Since 2017, Goalpha Care has been conducting periodic free health screening programs in rural communities across 12 out of 16 regions of Ghana. These programs focus on key health issues, including Hepatitis, Malaria, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), breast cancer, and diabetes.
In addition to screenings, Goalpha Care provides free medication and referrals to health facilities for individuals with severe cases. Health talks and control measures are also delivered to help participants manage their health effectively.
Over the past four years, this initiative has impacted over 12,000 families in rural communities. In recognition of its outstanding contribution to healthcare, Goalpha Care was honored with the Organization of the Year Award in 2019 by the Association of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast.
