In line with SDG Target 4.3, which promotes equal access to affordable and quality technical, vocational, and higher education, Goalpha Care launched a pop-up Skills Development Centre in Accra to empower women and girls through hands-on vocational training.
The center served school dropouts, unschooled youth, hawkers, and refugee women—equipping them with practical skills to start small businesses or gain employment. Courses offered included sewing, catering, make-up, hairdressing, soap and sanitizer production, among others.
This initiative continues to foster economic stability, dignity, and independence for women and their families across underserved communities.
